What is the Leadership School?

The Leadership School is a residential, 4-day & 3-night program designed to help young people learn how to make responsible decisions free from peer pressure.  For over 80 years, Kieve’s motto has been “Everyone Deserves To Be Treated With Kindness And Respect.”  The mission of The Leadership School is to empower young people and the adults who affect them to contribute positively to society by providing a wide range of experiential educational opportunities.

What does a typical day at Kieve look like?

How much does it cost to send my child to The Leadership School at Camp Kieve?

The Leadership School tries very hard to keep the cost of their programs affordable. To that end, Kieve raises money from alumni and friends to help keep the costs for students as low as possible.  The participants pay the remaining cost of each program, which is $200.  Payment plans can be made and some scholarships are available based on family need. My child is very worried about being away from home. Is there any advice to help my child feel better?

Many of our students will be away from  home for the first time during their stay at The Leadership School. We have found that a visit to the camp prior to the stay allows the worried child to better imagine what his/her experience will be like.
